Come Back, Yesterday

When I first read Denise Robins’ Come Back, Yesterday, I wasn’t sure what to make of it. The book is a mix of genres, including romance, mystery, and suspense. However, the one thing that stands out the most is the author’s beautiful writing.

The story follows Julia West, a young woman who is grieving the death of her fiancé. In an effort to escape her pain, Julia travels to Italy where she meets a handsome stranger. The two quickly fall in love, but Julia is soon faced with a devastating choice.

Although the book is a bit of a tearjerker, it’s also an incredibly well-written story. Denise Robins knows how to create believable and sympathetic characters. I found myself fully invested in Julia’s story and rooting for her to find happiness.

If you’re looking for a fast-paced, light read, this isn’t the book for you. However, if you’re in the mood for a beautiful, well-written story, I would highly recommend Come Back, Yesterday.
